COLOMBO (News 1st) - Former Parliamentarian of the Hambantota District, V. K. Indika has passed away at the age of 51. General Secretary of the United People's Freedom Alliance, Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said, he had passed away while at his residence. The body is currently lying at the Colombo South Teaching Hospital. The former UPFA parliamentarian had also held several ministerial portfolios in the Southern Provincial Council.
