Colombo and suburbs to experience watercuts tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The water supply to a number of areas in the Colombo Municipality and its suburbs will be suspended for 09 hours tomorrow (July 07). The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said the water cut will be in effect from 9 AM to 5 PM for urgent repairs. Accordingly, the water supply will be suspended in Colombo 05 and the areas that come under the purview of the Kotte Urban Council. The Water Board further noted water will be supplied to the areas of Colombo 04, Colombo 06, Colombo 07 and Colombo 08 at low-pressure levels. Moreover, the areas that come under the purview of the Maharagama and Boralesgamuwa Urban Councils will also receive water at a low pressure.
