COLOMBO (News 1st) – Senior Additional Solicitor General Yasantha Kodagaoda informed the Colombo Magistrates’ Court today (July 05) that a team of special prison officers discovered 3 mobile phones and 5 SIM cards in the prison ward of the Remand Prison in which Arjun Aloysius and Kasun Palisena are being held.
The Senior Additional Solicitor General said one of the mobile phones were found hidden under Aloysius’ pillow.
Meanwhile, Arjun Aloysius, the Beneficial Owner of Perpetual Treasuries and Kasun Palisena, its CEO, were further remanded until the 19th of this month.
Court also issued an order on the Directors Perpetual Treasuries Limited including Geoffrey Joseph Aloysius, if they are travelling overseas, that they must inform the court.
