Reuters - U.S. President Donald Trump praised the work of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and referred again to the media covering the "fake news" during an event in West Virginia on Tuesday (July 3) to honor veterans.
Trump has taken aim at Democratic lawmakers who have called for abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement -- or ICE. He described their work as "like in a war, you are liberating a town."
Trump also made reference to what he said were the "fake news" media covering the event. This comes on the same day Trump ordered flags at the White House and other government buildings to be lowered to half-staff in honor of the victims of the Annapolis shooting that left five people dead in a Maryland newsroom last week.
