Colombo (News1st) : Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa reiterated on Monday (July 3rd) that measures are being taken to file legal action against the New York Times for its recent investigative report which claimed the Former President accepted funds from China for the Presidential Election.

Responding to questions by journalists, the former President stated that the matter has been handed over to his lawyers. He described the article as an attempt to set the entire country in flames based on false claims.
