Gotabaya vows to topple the Government

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Another session of the "Eliya" conference was held in Dambulla today. Addressing the conference Former Defense Secretary, Gotabaya Rajapaksa stated that the situation is such today that even the Buddhist monks and the highest officials in the country are being forced to wear prison jumpers. He continued that certain people address Mahinda Rajapaksa with various names but that they have forgotten who created torture chambers like Batalanda and various torture techniques. Rajapaksa also accused the current administration of beginning the white van culture. While delivering a clear statement that he wants to topple this Government, Gotabaya assured those gathered that they would be working on how the future Government should act. He stated that while Mahinda Rajapaksa defeated terrorism in 3 years, this government has destroyed the entire country in the same time span.
