COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Inter-Ministerial Committee appointed to look into fluctuating global fuel prices, has decided to submit a report to the Cabinet of Ministers on the 5th of July.
The report will contain information about the fluctuation of fuel prices in the global market during the months of May and June.
The committee consists of three officials from the Finance Ministry and one officer from the Ministry of Petroleum Resources Development.
Secretary to the Ministry of Petroleum Resources Development, Upali Marasinghe noted that the Cabinet of Ministers will take a decision on amending fuel prices based on the report compiled by the Committee.
