Matale hospital overrun by flies

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Patients receiving treatment at the Matale Hospital are currently facing difficulties due to the presence of flies in the hospital premises. A spokesperson at the Matale General hospital stated that wards 3,5, and 6 are mostly inconvenienced due to this issue. He added that the situation has arisen due to the mismanagement of the garbage disposal center of the Matale Municipal Council which is located in close proximity to the hospital. When News 1st contacted the Director of the Matale District hospital Dr Anura Wickrama to inquire about it,  he stated that they had already informed in writing about the situation to the Matale Municipal Council.
