World Market: Crude oil prices drop while Gold on the rise

The crude-oil prices in the world market have dropped, when in comparison to yesterday's (June 17) value. In the Brent Market (UK), a barrel of crude oil is being sold at US $73.05. Meanwhile, a barrel of crude-oil in the American market is being sold at US $64.24. However it's a different story in the world market for Gold. According to Market Analysts, the prices of Gold have gone up. An ounce of Gold is being sold at US $1281.41. Analysts point out that the depreciation of the US Dollar has contributed to the rise in Gold prices in the world market.
