Colombo (News 1st) - Speaking at a Shramadana event that had been jointly organized today by the Bloomendhal Police and the Colombo Municipal Council under the Colombo North Rapid Urban Development project, MP Ravi Karunanayake commented on the leadership of the United National Party.
The minister made a remark saying that no matter how his status is affected due to the recent ministerial and state ministerial portfolios that had been given out, that he will stand with his people and that he does not need positions to do so.
"We did not come here for positions, if we have the position it is easier. But, those who have been given positions are not working."
Further, Karunanayake also stated that a major tremor has gripped the party today and that the trust element has been violated. He noted that the people require a correct leadership, a true leadership that could foster trust among the people.
