Country would be better off in the hands of professional auctioneers - Ven. Elle Gunawansa Thera

COLOMBO (News 1^st) - Venerable Elle Gunawansa Thera expressing his views while attending a function in Colombo yesterday (June 16) stated that the country needs an election soon. He noted that there is a lot of talk about Presidential elections and other elections but what the country needs is a General election. According to Ven. Elle Gunawansa Thera, the country is being auctioned off at present and it would be better if the country is handed over to professional auctioneers as they would at least announce what they are selling instead of doing it in secrecy.
