Another No Confidence Motion against the PM?

COLOMBO (News 1^st) - Addressing an event in Akmeemana today (June 12), UPFA Parliamentarian Ramesh Pathirana stated that the internal crisis of the UNP has piqued once again. According to UPFA MP, the backbenchers of the UNP are trying to bring a No Confidence Motion against the Prime Minister once again. He added that they are trying to appease those who are criticizing the leaders of the party by rewarding them with ministerial positions. Furthermore, Ramesh Pathirana stated that they see this as an effort to retain those parliamentarians who are on the verge of crossing over.
