COLOMBO (News 1^st) – Ministry of Finance and Mass Media says the total value of the assets owned by the government is reported to be Rs. 814 billion.

The Finance Ministry said this during the launch of the financial status of Sri Lanka for the year 2017.

According to the Fiscal Management Act, a final budget report for every financial year should be published by the Republic before 5 months following the completion of a fiscal year.

Finance Ministry stated that accordingly, the relevant financial statement was published along with the Auditor’s report on the 31^st of last month.
