Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka has withdrawn the case filed at the Colombo District Court against the “Mawbima” Newspaper. In the case, the Minister demanded a compensation payment of Rs. 1.5 billion saying his character was defamed by two articles published during the election period. Following the case by Min.
