Perpetual Treasuries Limited office searched once again

COLOMBO (News 1^st) - The Perpetual Treasuries Limited premises located in the Parkland Building in Colombo 02 was searched today (May 30) after detectives obtained a search warrant from the Fort Magistrates Court this morning supported by an application made by the Attorney General in this regard. The office premises of Perpetual Treasuries Limited in the Parkland Building was searched in the presence of the Chairman of the Perpetual Group Geoffrey Joseph Aloysius, an attorney, and employees of PTL including its compliance officer. Sources close to the investigation said the entire premises was searched for the collection of files, vital documents, and computer data storage devices that are required for the on-going investigations. The investigators sealed the premises late this evening and were seen taking away certain materials. Reliable sources claimed, the search will take place tomorrow (May 31) as well.
