The names Boyle, Danny Boyle and he is directing the next Bond film

Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle has won the battle to direct the 25th Bond film, the official franchise has announced. Boyle will reunite with Daniel Craig and Trainspotting writer John Hodge for the film. Daniel Craig will return as James Bond. Production is set to begin on December 3 at UK's Pinewood Studios. EON Productions' Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli described Boyle as "exceptionally talented", adding they were "delighted" to have him on board. The film is due to be released in 2019.
