Viral flu spreading across Southern Province identified

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The viral flu spreading across the Southern Province has been identified by authorities. The Provincial Health Services Director, Dr. G. Wijesuriya, said four types of viruses are causes for the viral flu. Due to the spread of the viral flu, a large number of patients are being admitted to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital in Galle. According to the Provincial Director of Health Service, for the past one and a half months, 15 had died and 150 are receiving treatment in hospital. Among the victims is an 11-month infant.
