Meghan Markle's father may not attend wedding ceremony

It is unclear whether Meghan Markle's father Thomas will walk her down the aisle on her wedding. Thomas Markle, 73, said he would no longer be attending his daughter’s wedding to Prince Harry on Saturday, where he was supposed to be taking a starring role to support her. He said paparazzi had been hounding him for weeks, capturing unflattering photographs. He said when approached by a photo agency he agreed to stage some photos in an attempt to improve his reputation. Thomas Markle is reported to have said he did not want to cause his daughter embarrassment by attending the wedding. Kensington Palace issued a statement saying it was "a deeply personal moment for Ms Markle".
