SLFP to complete party reforms in 45 days

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A meeting of the SLFP parliamentary group was held at the Presidential Secretariat, today (May 10). The entire SLFP parliamentary group including the MPs who resigned from the government recently, attended the meeting held under the auspices of the President Maithripala Sirisena. UPFA MP Sudarshani Fernandopulle said the discussion was regarding the reform of the SLFP and that the president informed everyone that the reforms have to be completed within 45 days. Meantime, Deputy Minister of Ports and Shipping Nishantha Muthuhettigamage said the party will be subject to total reform before the Central Committee meeting on June 17. WATCH VIDEO
