Royal beats Trinity to win the 74th Bradby Shield

COLOMBO (News 1^st) - Royal College, Colombo beat Trinity College, Kandy 27 – 19 to win the second leg of the 74^th Bradby Shield earlier today (May 5). Royal College dominated the game from the kick-off in Kandy to lead the first half 13 points to 5. The second half saw a harder fought contest between the two rivals, as both teams added 14 points each to their scores. The game, however, ended with the lads from Colombo coming on top with 27 points to 19. The Royalists scored 4 tries, two conversions and one penalty while the Trinitians' 19 points were made up of 3 tries and 2 conversions. Royal College, Colombo beat Trinity College, Kandy in the first leg 39 points to 7.
