Ministers assume duties following cabinet reshuffle

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Four ministers whose subjects were changed recently following the cabinet reshuffle, assumed duties in their new ministries today (May 3). Mahinda Amaraweera assumed duties as Minister of Agriculture at the ministry located in Rajagiriya. Duminda Dissanayake assumed duties as Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Management and Disaster Management. After assuming duties the minister said his dream is to design the Lower Malwathu Oya Reservoir. He also said that he believes the recent cabinet reshuffle will be the last one. Wijith Wijayamuni Zoysa assumed duties as Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development. Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka assumed duties as Minister of Sustainable Development, Wildlife and Regional Development.
