Special traffic plan around New Kelaniya Bridge due to renovation activities

COLOMBO (News 1^st) – A special traffic plan will be in place due to renovation activities of the New Kelaniya Bridge, said police. This traffic plan will begin today (May 3) and continue until May 5th. Police also noted that vehicular traffic will be limited occasionally during the day and night in the vicinity of the New Kelaniya Bridge, running up to the 5th of May. A special request has been made to the General Public to use alternative routes in the event of leaving/entering Colombo along the Colombo-Kandy road to avoid congestion around the Kelani Bridge round-about.
