Sirasa-Union Assurance Vesak Zone: Day 2 attracts thousands of devotees

COLOMBO (News 1^st) – Day 2 of the Sirasa - Union Assurance Vesak Zone commenced at 1 pm today (April 30) at the MTV/MBC Head Office premises in Braybrooke Street, Colombo 02. Devotees have the opportunity to worship Sarwagna relics including relics of Sariyuth and Mugalan, Lord Buddha’s two Disciples. The Vesak Zone features a number of Dansals along and will remain open until tomorrow. A Vesak Perehara will parade the streets around the premises on May 1, at 08.00 PM. The Sirasa Union Assurance Vesak zone was officially declared open last evening by President Maithripala Sirisena.
