Vesak zone: Sacred Relics to reach Colombo

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Preparations are underway at the premises of the MTV/MBC Head Office in Braybrooke Street in Colombo 02, where the Sirasa - Union Assurance Vesak Zone will be held for three consecutive days. The Sirasa - Union Assurance Vesak Zone will be open for public from April 29 to May 1. The processions carrying Sacred Relics to be placed at the Vesak Zone, are set to reach Colombo today (April 28), via three different routes. Today (April 28), the Sacred Relics which are arriving from Mihinthalaya will be brought to the Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya, while the Relics from Galle will be brought to the Gangaramaya Temple in Colombo. Sacred Relics arriving from Tissamaharama will be brought to the Purana Viharaya in Homagama.
