COLOMBO (News 1st) – Seventeen people have been injured in a bus accident in Pinnaduwa along Southern Expressway.

The accident occurred at around 7:15 a.m. today (April 28), due to a technical failure in the bus. Director of Expressway Operations, Maintenance and Management, S. Opanayake, said the injured have been admitted to hospital.

Opanayake further noted that the bus has been removed from the expressway, adding the vehicular movement has not affected.
