SLFP and UNP to host meetings on party reforms

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Central Committee of the SLFP will be gathering for a discussion at 08 PM today (April 24) under the auspices of President Maithripala Sirisena. SLFP General Secretary Duminda Dissanayake said the 16 MPs who left the Government recently, will be present for this meeting which will take place at the President's Official Residence. Meanwhile, the UNP's reform committee will also be gathering today (April 24) for further discussions. Deputy Minister and member of the reform committee J.C.Alawathuwala said the meeting will take place at 3.30 PM in the presence of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe.
