Education Ministry to conduct mosquito eradication programmes in schools

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Education has decided to carry out mosquito eradication programmes in schools before the new school term begins. The Ministry noted that schools have been instructed to conduct Shramadana programmes tomorrow (April 22) with the participation of parents. The second term of government schools for the academic year of 2018 will begin on the 23rd of  April. The Education Ministry says it should be ensured that all schools are mosquito free zones, before the start of the next term.
