Three suspected underworld members arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Two suspected members of an underworld gang were arrested in the Thotalanga area by the Police Special Task Force (STF). Police Media Spokesperson, SP Ruwan Gunasekera, said the duo are suspected to be involved in a drug ring. SP Ruwan Gunasekera said the suspects who are aged 23 and 26 are residents of Ferguson Road in Colombo 15. They have been handed over to the Organised Crimes Division for further investigations. The Police also said another suspected member of an underworld gang has been arrested in Gampaha by the Police STF. The STF said two swords and two fake passports were seized from the suspect's possession. The suspect has been handed over to the Minuwangoda Police for further investigations.
