New bribery prevention unit to be introduced for state institutions - CIABOC

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Director General of the commission to investigate allegations of Bribery and Corruption (CIABOC),  President’s Counsel Sarath Jayamanne says, a special unit will be established within state institutions in-order to curb bribery and corruption.   The unit to eliminate bribery and corruption within government sector institutions will be set up based on the systems that have been used to eliminate bribery and corruption in Asian countries such as Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Bhutan.
