With over five billion views, 2017 hit Despacito recently broke records to become the most-watched video on YouTube but it has been reportedly hacked. Hackers calling themselves Prosox and Kuroi'sh purportedly replaced the video content with a picture of armed, masked people in orange jumpsuits, believed to be a still from the Spanish television series Money Heist. According to foreign media, underneath the video was written “ Free Palestine”. Youtube videos of more than a dozen other artists, including Shakira, Selena Gomez, Drake and Taylor Swift have also been affected. The original clips had been posted by Vevo. Cyber-security expert Prof Alan Woodward, from Surrey University, said it was unlikely that the hacker was able to gain access so easily. He said, "to upload and alter video content with a code you should require an authorization token".
