6 conmen arrested from Kelaniya for land racket

COLOMBO (News 1^st) - Six suspects who are alleged to have defrauded a sum of more than 40 Million Rupees have been arrested. They arrested suspects were in possession of a number of forged deeds and National Identity Cards. It is reported that these suspects falsified deeds in-order to sell lands in the Kelaniya area. Police Media Spokesperson, Superintendent of Police Ruwan Gunasekera made this revelation during a media briefing held in Peliyagoda today (April 9).
