COLOMBO (News 1st) – The deadline to submit applications for re-correction of answer scripts of the 2017 G C E Ordinary Level examination has been extended until the 12th of April.

The decision to extend the deadline was taken due to technical challenges faced by the Department of Postal Services.

Accordingly Commissioner of Examinations Sanath Pujitha said, both school and private applicants are eligible to submit their applications for recorrection till the 12th of April .

A total of 688,573 students sat for the 2017 G C E Ordinary Level examination at 5116 examination centers around the country.  9960 students obtained A passes for all subjects.
