Raids launched to arrest traders who sell food items not suitable for consumption

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Raids are launched to arrest traders selling food items not suitable for consumption during the festive season, Public Health Inspectors' Union says. Secretary of the Union, Mahendra Balasooriya, noted that 1,800 PHIs have been assigned for the raids. He further said, if the general public have complaints regarding any shop, they can contact the number 011-263 5675 or send a text message to 070 270 3737.
