COLOMBO (News 1st): A meeting took place at the residence of Minister Malik Samarawickrama with the attendance of PM Ranil Wickremesinghe and a group of UNP MPs.
During this meeting, the group had discussed the removal of the ministerial portfolios of Ministers John Amaratunga and Gamini Jayawickrama.
Speaking to News 1st, the Secretary of the United National Freedom Front Maithri Gunaratne said the next presidential election and the UNP’s candidate for it has also been discussed.
