Prof Stephen Hawking's funeral to take place today

The funeral of renowned theoretical physicist Prof Stephen Hawking will take place in Cambridge. A private service will be held at the university church, Great St. Mary's, at 14:00 on March 31. The service will be attended by Professor Hawking’s family, invited friends and colleagues. Prof Hawking's ashes will be interred next to the grave of Sir Isaac Newton at Westminster Abbey in June.
