Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt secures second term of presidency

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi is most likely to win a second term in office. Egypt state media reports the current president has won around 90% of the votes that have been counted so far.

According to the state-run newspaper Akhbar al-Youm, President Sisi has won around 22 million votes out of the total 24 million votes against his only opponent Mousa Mostafa Mousa. However, the official results are scheduled to be announced on 2^nd of April.

President Sisi is being criticized for not letting other opponents run in the presidential election except for Mousa Mostafa Mousa.The Media in Egypt accuse that Mousa Mostafa Mousa is running as a supporting candidate.
