Kandy unrest: Eight suspects further remanded

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Eight suspects arrested in connection with the unrest in Kandy were further remanded today (March 29) by Teldeniya Magistrate M. H. Parikdeen. Two other suspects are to be produced before the Galagedara Magistrate. Meantime, Kumara Mohottige Samantha Perera alias 'Araliya Samantha,' a member of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), who was arrested by the Terrorist Investigation Division of the Kundasale Pradeshiya Sabha, was remanded until April 2nd by the Teldeniya Magistrate's Court.
