SL's Human Rights to be discussed at UNHRC session

UN comisssioner for Human rights to discuss on the Sri Lanka's Human Rights and reconcitliation at UNHRC

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The updated report by the UN Commissioner for Human Rights Prince Zeid bin Ra'ad Zeid al-Hussein on Sri Lanka's Human Rights and reconciliation is scheduled to be taken up for discussion at the UNHRC session today (March 21). Meanwhile, a Sri Lankan delegation including Minister of Foreign Affairs Tilak Marapana, Minister of Special Assignments Sarath Amunugama and Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Faiszer Mustapha is in Geneva for the session. The delegation also includes officials from the Ministry of External Affairs, the Attorney General's Department, the Coordinating Secretariat for Reconstruction Mechanisms and the Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the United Nations in Geneva.
