Toddler Kiara Moore dies after being pulled from car in Cardigan's River Teifi

A child of two has died after being recovered from a car found in a river. The mother of the said child stated that her vehicle had been taken with her daughter inside. Kiara Moore, died at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff after being rescued from the River Teifi in Cardigan, Ceredigion, yesterday (March 19) The woman had earlier reported to police that her car had been taken with her child still in the back. Dyfed-Powys Police .is investigating. According to the force, they received a call about a missing vehicle at 15:30, local time and a silver Mini was found in the river at about 17:10, local time. Dozens of people posted messages of condolence on Facebook to Mr. Moore and Kim Rowlands, Kiara's mother. The couple runs an outdoor pursuits business, Adventure Beyond, which has a booking office at the old scout hall near the river, next to where the car was last seen. Kiara's death was described as "an utter tragedy".
