Suspect arrested in relation to the luxury car that drove into the Diyawanna Oya

COLOMBO (News 1^st) - An individual named Fazil Mohammed Hussain was arrested by Thalangama Police in respect to the "car in the lake story" in the Thalawatugoda.

According to the Police, the suspect is now undergoing medical checks at Angoda Base Hospital and awaiting results of it.

Minister of Higher Education and Highways Kabir Hashim issued a statement yesterday (March 18) stating a relative of his was the driver and confirmed that his relative has no connection to the Minister's political activities.
