Vauniya two-day-old missing infant found in Anuradhapura

COLOMBO (News 1^st) - A two-day-old infant who was reported missing from the Vavuniya hospital was found at the Anuradhapura hospital. According to the Police, a woman, a resident of Kebathigollawa, was arrested over the charges of kidnapping the infant. The suspect will be produced before the Vavuniya Magistrates Court today (March 10). Furthermore, the police stated that the suspect had falsely appeared as pregnant to carry out the kidnapping.
