Three individuals are killed and 13 others are severely injured due to a massive fire erupted in a chemical plant in India last night (08
th March). According to the reports the fire has erupted in the Ramedeo Chemicals plant which is located in Palghar district of Maharashtra state. The fire has spread along at least six other factories, the report says.
According to the police officials, the cause of the fire is suspected to be a blast occurred in a boiler room containing
industrial solvent.
The industrial solvent has burst under an environment of high temperature and pressure causing the huge explosion, the police investigations indicated.
The police and fire department and medical teams are at rescue operations at the site.
