Provincial Councilor Amal Silva hospitalised

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Western Provincial Councilor, Amal Silva, has been injured in a shooting that took place this evening in the Kaldemulla area in Ratmalana. Police Media Spokesperson, SP Ruwan Gunasekara, noted that the Provincial Councilor had sustained injuries on a leg. Hence, he has been admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital. The Police Media Spokesperson stated that a group had arrived in a vehicle and shot him.
