JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake pays reverence to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic

COLOMBO (News 1^st) - Leader of the JVP Anura Kumara Dissanayake paid reverence to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic today (March 6). Anura Kumara Dissanayake worshipped the Sacred Tooth Relic and thereafter called on the Mahanayake of the Malwathu Chapter of the Siam Sect, the Most Venerable Thibbotuwawe Sri Sumangala Thero. The leader of the JVP Anura Kumara Dissanayake expressing his views stated that the racist ideology that is rising in the country must be defeated immediately and that it is clear that there is a political objective behind this incident. Furthermore, he stated that it is why they are inciting racism and that they are aware, groups that are in power use racism to keep their hold on to power and same is done by groups that were defeated.

Thereafter, Dissanayake called on the Anunayake of the Malwathu Chapter of the Siam Sect, the Most Venerable Dimbulkumbure Vimaladhamma Thero.
