Non-academic university staff to strike

COLOMBO (News1st) - The University Trade Union Joint Committee says they will launch a continuous strike action citing several demands including salary allowances. Chairman of the Committee, Edward Malwattage, said the strike will be carried out at all universities islandwide. Malwattage further noted that they expect the Minister of Higher Education and Highways to provide immediate solutions to their problems.
