COLOMBO News 1st: Arjun Mahendran has failed to appear before court, despite orders.

Responding to the question from the media, Minister Rajitha Senarathne assured that Arjun Mahendran will be brought before the court.

The media further questioned the minister on reports that Arjun Mahendran is not available at his Singapore residence.

What actions will the government take regarding the situation?

According to Min. (Dr) Rajitha Senarathne, the government would take actions as similar to Udayanga Weerathunga’s case.

The Minister expressed his concerns, stating that media is only focusing on Arjun Mahendran excessively.

Adding to that he further said, Udayanga Weerathunga is still on the run and the UAE police has issued a search warrant on him.

He stressed that a court order must be issued for the case of Arjun Mahendran for the government to take further actions.
