One killed in Hambantota shooting

An individual has been shot to death while travelling in an Ampara-bound bus in Mirijjawila, Hambantota. The 33 year old victim is a resident of Tangalle, said Police Media Spokesperson ASP Ruwan Gunasekara. The victim was shot while he was returning from a court case at the Tangalle Magistrate's Court. His body is currently lying at the Hambantota Hospital. According to police, the shooter fled the scene in a car which was following the bus.
