Twelve injured in Puttalam accident

COLOMBO (News1st) Twelve individuals were injured in an accident that occurred near Kumarakatuwa junction in Puttalam. The accident took place on Sunday at dawn. The incident occurred when a car plunged into a crowd that had gathered close to an accident site, where a motorcycle had met with an accident. Following the incident, the driver had been assaulted by residents. Later, however, he had been escorted with the help of the police.
