Interim Order preventing FCID action against Gotabhaya extended

COLOMBO (News1st): The interim order preventing the Financial Crimes Investigations Division (FCID) from taking action against former Defence Secretary, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, under the Public Property Act, was extended to February 28 ,by the Court of Appeal. The order was issued by the bench comprising of the Chairman of the Court of Appeal, Preethi Padman Surasena and Justice Shiran Gunaratne. The order adds that the case will be taken up again on February 27.
