An individual has been murdered in the Mahara, Kadawatha.

According to a 119 call received by the police, an injured individual who was admitted to the Ragama Hospital had succumbed to his injuries upon admission.

The deceased is a 46 year old resident of the Kossinna, Ganemulla.

Information has come to light  that the killing had taken place as a result of a personal dispute and that the murder had taken place while the victim was travelling in a van.

Three individuals, including a woman have been arrested by the Police in connection to the murder.
